Hi Freak The Mighty GroupI think Maxwell is being lied to about his dad. My proof is when Freak says "What she means to say is that your a spitting image of your old man" right after the mom apologises for not trusting him, and than Maxwell wonders what is wrong with looking like your dad? I think that maybe he (the dad) did something that made the mom die. but I am not sure so keep reading!

    Yes I do agree with you but I don't think Killer Kane would have KILLED max's mom. I think he went a just a little insane. And I think its so cool how when maz and kevin are in loretta lees house and when their tryin to have a little fun with Max they say"What happens if killer kane saw us messin with his kid." Which tells me Killer Kane must have killed a lot of people and every ones scared of him

    I also thinks so because Fair Gwen said to Maxwell that Killer Kane made it hard for his mom and Fair Gwen to be friends.

    That's kind of obvious that Killer Kane killed Max's mom because how do you be friends with someone that's dead?!

    First of all, I HOPE U R HAVING A GREAT TRIP SARAH I MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH!Okay, I agree. I think that the dad went insane and protective and killed the mom. When the fair gwen is talking she mentions how she was friends with Max's mom, he didn't let her hang with friends, and "she never did like that guy." I know that if someone did something bad to one of my BFF's then I would disapprove of that person. Anyway, luv U guys have an SUPER AWESOME night!!!

    I agree with myself to because it says it was hard for them to be friends (and as joy said) how CAN you be friends with someone that is dead (hint:YOU CAN'T ! ! ! ! ! !)and lets say that she died of I don't know something else it would of explained that BUT IF killer kane killed her the author can't TELL us that and i have been thinking tht maybe he (killer kane) killed someone else and the mom saw him and then he didt want her to tell anyone so he killedher like he was about to do to Loretta
