End of Rules

I am just saying that I did not enjoy the ending. I don't know why It just didn't appeal to me. The quote "Kneeling beside  David our arms touching, our faces reflect side by side, in the glass.I let that be enough" I didn't understand it and I was wondering if we could discuss it in our meeting

guiney pigs

I don't know what you guy's think but I think that the guiney pig's are a pleasure to have around. They add pazzazzzzzzzzz  to the story because I have to admit this is a very deep story even though I am not enjoying it I think that it was a good novel to use for blogging. You know what I noticed? [Mr B] that on the back cover it says"Catherine just wants to lead a normal life" than at the bottom it says "...forces her to ask : what is Normal?" so I think that later in the book catherine will relize what she is doing wrong.

Catherines Dad

I think that Catherines dad dosn't relize how catherine feels. I think that he just wants a life to himself . Maybe because of davvid. My proof is when he says "Purple?' He looks over, His forehead lined with concern. 'Is it mold?' It feels stupid to be jealous of a tomato but sometimes I think  dad likes them more than me and David" I think Catherine feels lonely because her Dad does not do anything with her.

Scenes

What was your favourite scene (or the one that the most sad or moved you the most) ???? Mine was when jason said " Sometimes.Asleep.I.Dream.I.Can.Run" Because this is something he does not tell anyone. I found in this book that Jason says a lot of stuff to Catherine he does not say to anyone else.

I don't think the rule 'Sometimes people laugh because they like you. but sometimes they laugh to hurt you' is a good rule because it might be confusing him because ryan laughs at him but david thinks he is his friend so maybe he can't tell the difference. Like on page 108 when ryan questions david's jumping skills so david jump's but all he want's is the gum so he doesn't stop when Catherine tells him too [quote] "Davids not good with jokes" [Catherine] so i think Catherine is getting carried away with her rules.

Speech Therapist :(

I think that the speech therapist should ask Jason's opinion when they go to OT because Jason thinks that she is to loud and he was able to tell Catherine that he can hear fine but I don't think that the speech therapist understands. I think that the speech therapist should make more of an effort. Don't ya think?

I don't think Catherine want's to be popular I think she doesn't want people to think about her to much to think 'she is not popular' I just thinks she wants to pass as an average girl but that is hard with david around. I don't think she is popular because she says "she doesn't look like a flashlights-Morse-code kid" and as Catherine says earlier those are not popular things to do. She also thinks that Kristi will pass as popular but she doesn't have a problem with that. my point is that I think that Catherines main goal in life would be to pass as any other person. What do you think Catherine's goal is in life

I don'y think catherine knows how much  jason likes her. i also don't think catherine knows how much she likes jason. She is so focest on not being seen with him she doesn't enjoy the time sher has with him. pg 118 almost made me cry because jason wishes he would die :(  I think that catheine should find a way to make jason happy because he says he is 'incomplete' :(.

Cover !

I think the duck on the cover is David because when i looked at it I thought it meant maybe "A fish out of water" because maybe he wants to go in the water but he can't because he can float. I also think it might mean everyone is speacial in there own way. Because maybe he can't swim like anyone else BUT he can float! I don't think Catheren Understands that. I think that Catheren is the fish because she is looking at her brother who is the duck and she wishes he would come down and be like her.
